AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism is a full-year, calculus-based, college-level physics course, especially appropriate for students planning to specialize or major in physical science, physics, or engineering. Students will explore Electric Charges, Fields, & Gauss's Law, Electric Potential, Conductors and Capacitors, Electric Circuits, Magnetic Fields and Electromagnetism, and Electromagnetic Induction. This course focuses on developing the foundation of classical mechanics and applying calculus to solve problems and understand scenarios in real-world contexts. The coursework and inquiry-based laboratory activities will focus on the student's ability to create, analyze, and interpret representations of physical scenarios and graphs, design investigations, and use mathematical models.
