ASD Actors Give Back to the Community in “GATSBY: An Immersive Theatre Experience” on QE 2 Ship

In April, ASD had a number of actors from the community participate in GATSBY: An Immersive Theatre Experience”. Those giving back include Phil Ridley, ASD Director of Arts; also Aida Laubach, Iobel Andemicael and Genevieve Beverley, and Grade 9 student Eamon H. ‘22.

They spent the last few months rehearsing scenes, learning dances, and transforming into characters from “Gatsby”. They interacted with guests of Queen Elizabeth 2 Ship throughout six nights of shows. Guests also decked out in 1920’s fashion to eat, dance, and follow various characters around the three decks of the ship witnessing the storyline unfold.
