Once A Falcon, Always A Falcon! An ASD alumnus is defined as any individual who has benefitted from an ASD education, whether for one year or fourteen. At ASD alumni include former students, parents, along with faculty and staff. Our goal is to forge lasting relationships with our unique community.

All ASD alumni—past students and graduates, parents of alumni, and former faculty and staff—are invited to reconnect with their classmates and friends, teachers, and coaches to share memories and learn about the school today. Many ASD alumni now participate in alumni events and reunions, social and professional networking, and contribute time, talent, and treasure in support of ASD through mentoring, volunteering, and giving back.

Alumni Stories

Dr. Omaima Ataya

From the start, Dr. Omaima Ataya knew she would work in medicine — and specifically, in pediatrics. “I never really thought about any other field,” she says. “I enjoyed a lot of my internships that were totally unrelated, like trauma surgery and dermatology, but I knew that working with kids was my calling.”
