In 2014, ASD became one of only 100 schools worldwide to offer the College Board AP Capstone diploma program which further enhances the rich educational opportunities at ASD. The program is earned when students complete four AP courses as well as the two years of Capstone AP courses and complete an independent project.
The School Year
The ASD school year typically runs from August to June in two semesters, with a winter holiday that starts in December and a spring break which is usually in April.
