It’s a safe and family-friendly city full of adventure parks, water parks, skate parks, and playgrounds. It’s an active city with bicycle tracks, sporting events, tennis courts, and triathalons. The Louvre Abu Dhabi is an hour drive, Oman makes for an adventurous road trip, and the Dubai International Airport is a central hub to over 240 travel destinations.

The United Arab Emirates is made up of seven formerly independent Emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al Quwain, Ras al Khaimah, and Fujairah. The Emirate of Dubai is located south of the Arabian Gulf on the Arabian Peninsula and has the largest population of all the Emirates.

Dubai has emerged as a global city and a business hub. With an economy originally built on the oil industry, it is now growing through revenues generated from tourism, real estate and financial services, similar to Western countries.

Whether you are new to Dubai or have been here for years, there is always something to discover. With a mild climate eight months of the year, you can enjoy the glorious sunshine and broken blue skies perfect for hosting outdoor barbecues, camping in the desert or enjoying a beach club. Temperatures range from lows of 8 degrees Celsius in the winter, to highs of 48 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Rainfall is infrequent, occurring mostly during the winter. Summer clothing can be worn year-round, with an occasional wrap or jacket needed in winter months or in the air-conditioned restaurants and malls. Modest clothing, covering your shoulders and knees is recommended when out in public.
