Campaign Update
Thanks to all those who have contributed to the 1 For The Books. As we near the end of the week, you can track the progress of the campaign below.
1FTB Class Challenge
From Saturday, May 7 to Friday, May 13, we will be celebrating the ASD Libraries through the 1 For the Books special giving campaign. This campaign will see our community of readers, authors, and other enthusiasts celebrate books and the joy of reading. It will also provide opportunities for the community and friends to support the enhancement and expansion of our ASD Library resources through giving.
The 1 For The Books campaign will look to raise AED 500,000 to ensure that the Elementary School and Middle School/High School Libraries are strongly positioned to challenge and inspire all our students as readers, which we know will have a positive impact on so many other aspects of their learning.
Our main goal is to ensure that these valuable resources that serve as the foundation of the transformational experience offered at ASD will prepare each student to be a passionate learner ready to adapt and contribute in a rapidly changing world.

Challenges
Class Competition
The class with the highest percentage (%) of donors will earn a Class Flag signed by the students.
Matching Gift
Once the campaign reached 200,000AED, 200,000AED is added to the total fund and if the campaign reaches 500,000AED, another gift of 100,000AED will be added.
Book Purchase Challenge
For AED 250, your family can purchase a book for the ASD Library that will be stamped with your family name prior to being placed in circulation. This is a great way to support the campaign and make a lasting legacy for your family. You can purchase the book here.

ASD Book Club - 16:00 - 17:00
Join other ASD parents in lively discussion of Where the Crawdads Sing or Olga Dies Dreaming
Community Authors’ Celebration & Character Dress Up (Elementary School)
Learn more about authors in the ASD community. ES students will be invited to dress up as their favorite book characters.
