Celebrate ASD's 1 Community on Tuesday, May 21. This one-day fundraising event will be an opportunity for every family in our community to come together in support of our school, and to make a gift towards our Academic, Arts, or Athletics programs, or towards the growth of our endowment—designed to support the long-term financial sustainability of ASD.
While every dirham raised matters, our focus for 1 Community will be participation. Whether you choose to give AED 100 or AED 100,000, your involvement is what’s most important. We encourage every family to consider donating an amount appropriate for them. The 1 Community campaign is about one community coming together for one day with the goal of each family making one gift.

Our main goal is to ensure that these valuable resources that serve as the foundation of the transformational experience offered at ASD will prepare each student to be a passionate learner ready to adapt and contribute in a rapidly changing world.
Challenges
Class Competition
The class with the highest percentage (%) of donors will earn a Class Flag signed by the students.
Threshold Gifts
Once the campaign reaches 100 gifts, AED 100,000 is added to the total fund. Once the campaign reaches 200 gifts, an additional AED 100,000 is added to the total fund. If the campaign reaches 57 Alumni gifts, another gift of AED 365,000 will be added.
Alumni Challenge
For the first time, we encourage our Alumni around the world to participate in our Giving Day. For the graduating year that commits the largest number of gifts at the end of day will earn bragging rights with all of our alumni and will be acknowledged with a commemorative sign in the main quad of ASD’s campus for the 2024-2025 school year.

Join us on May 21 at 8:30 a.m. in E215 to learn more about the day and to join others by making your gift. Those who participate in the campaign during this event will receive a special gift in addition to the 1 Community giving pin that all donors will receive.
