Cultivating Future-Ready Passionate Learners
Welcome to American School of Dubai (ASD) High School. As the new principal, I am excited to join this esteem learning institution that emphasizes integrity and kindness, and encourages global-mindedness and inclusivity.
The high school is a learning ecosystem that nurtures students to be passionate learners and compassionate leaders. The ASD community and family spirit echoes throughout the hearts and voices of our students, parents, and faculty. Excellence, Respect and Responsibility are modeled in our program and way of life. Our facilities and resources further enhance and make the learning experience at ASD a truly special place.
Our program seeks to develop the whole child. At ASD, we recognize the necessity to prepare students to be successfully contributors in the interconnected and rapidly changing world we live in. The high school offers students a rigorous curriculum that exposes them to inquiry, critical thinking, and problem solving. We are committed to stretching student’s curiosity, participation, learning, and thinking. Learning, at ASD, extends beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to accelerate academically, athletically and artistically. In addition to the many AP courses available, ASD fosters deep thinking and transdisciplinary learning through the Capstone Program, INSPIRE trips, service learning, and virtual learning opportunities. ASD graduates are not only college and career bound, but reflective thinkers, effective communicators, and self-directed role models ready to make a positive difference in the world.
With over a decade of experience in education leadership, I am committed to partnering with the community to build upon ASD’s legacy of excellence. It’s wonderful time to be at ASD! Even with our recognized excellence in the region and internationally, our work continues as we seek to make learning more relevant and impactful for our students. We are a reflective and evolving community of learners; we are proud, positive and influential Falcons.
