Fadi the Falcon
Fadi, the spirited mascot of ASD, embodies the pride, energy, and unity of our community. Each year, he soars onto the stage at our Opening Ceremony, leading the celebration as we honor the many nations represented by the flags of our diverse Falcon family. Throughout the year, Fadi can be found cheering on our athletes, celebrating our artists, and inspiring our scholars, always reminding us that no matter where we come from, we all share the same Falcon spirit.

Who plays you during the events?
Obviously someone famous. Maybe Tom Cruise? He already knows how to make a dramatic entrance.
What’s your favorite school lunch?
I love a hot dog at the Falcons' Nest on What-A-Wednesdays!
Are you a morning bird or a night owl?
I am definitely a morning bird. I like to be on campus before the UAE anthem plays at 8:20 a.m.
What’s your favorite subject at school?
Physics. I am especially interested in Aerodynamics.
How many feathers do you have?
Enough to stay warm in the ASD Theatre and to keep cool in our gym!
What’s your favorite place on campus?
The Center for Design and Innovation - where creativity takes flight!
What is your favorite ASD event?
Our annual Opening Ceremony, of course!
