Superintendent's Message

Greetings, and welcome to the American School of Dubai!
For nearly six decades, ASD has been a community where curiosity is nurtured, potential unlocked, and community truly matters. Set on a thoughtfully designed campus within one of the world’s most globally connected cities, the school brings together dedicated educators, engaging spaces for learning, and a deep commitment to student care and development.
Anchored in our mission to challenge and inspire every learner, ASD is recognized for strong academic outcomes, environmental stewardship, and a professional culture grounded in purpose and collaboration. Together, these priorities shape an experience that balances high expectations with genuine care for each individual.
As you navigate our site, I invite you to discover how students are supported across all dimensions of school life, from classroom learning to creative expression, athletics, and leadership. Along the way, students cultivate resilience, perspective, and confidence as they prepare to contribute thoughtfully in an ever-changing global landscape.
Thank you for your interest in our school. I hope you enjoy learning more about our community and look forward to the opportunity to welcome you to campus.
Warm regards,
Sheryl Gruber
