Varsity Girls/Boys Soccer Victory over DIA Wolves
Feb. 2, 2012

In a great match up on Thursday night, the Varsity Boys and Girls played the DIA Wolves. Both teams were excited to play on their home fields. The Varsity Girls paved the way in a convincing 2-0 win where plenty of opportunities were created and some great finishes recorded. The Boys followed suit and navigated the field with precision and some waves of offensive brilliance. The Boys final result was an impressive 3-0 final over the visiting Wolves.

Varsity Girls Basketball Defeat Dubai College

Feb. 2, 2012
Although the Varsity Girls had a slow start—they were down by 4 at halftime against Dubai College—they pulled ahead in the end to win 37-23. The Girls displayed some great passing and made some outstanding shots.


U14 Boys/Girls Soccer Lose to GWA Dragons

Feb. 2, 2012
The U14 Boys and Girls soccer teams matched up against the strong and well organized team GWA Dragons on Wednesday night. Despite running ahead, the U14 Boys team faced a flurry of shots on net and found themselves ending the game with a 2 goal deficit. The U14 Boys played very hard, showing their skill, ability, and teamwork during the 70 minutes of game play resulting in a 5-3 loss to GWA. The U14 Girls found themselves in an equally challenging game where, despite great teamwork and a number of fantastic saves made, the GWA offensive proved to be too strong in a 7-1 loss to GWA .

Mixed Results for U14 Girls/Boys Basketball vs. UAS Scorpions

In an away game against the UAS Scorpions, both the U14 Boys and Girls matched up against some good competition. The Scorpions played tough defensively and pushed our offense to respond with some well organized plays. The U14 Girls played through a lot of close shots that rolled out. With two minutes left, the Girls cut the score to 32-29, but in the end fell just short with a final score of 35-29. THe U14 Boys played a strong game, showing outstanding defense and passing the ball very well in transition. They continued their undefeated season, posting a win of 43-16. 


JV Girls Basketball in Win Over DIA Wolves
Feb. 1, 2012
The JV Girls played their best offensive game of the season today. The Girls got to the free throw line and managed to make about 70% of their foul shots, marking a great improvement. Defensively, the Falcons were able to keep the Wolves at 6 points with a full court press, but the Wolves scored in the second half because the Girls went back to half court defense. Displaying great teamwork, the JV Girls ended the game with a winning score of 44.


Draw for Varsity Boys and Win for Varsity Girls in Soccer Matches vs. the ACS Sand Vipers

In evenly matched games, both the Varsity Boys and Girls teams found themselves equal after regulation time versus the ACS Sand Vipers. In an intense set of games that saw a number of great opportunities, great saves, and a battle of the defense, all teams showed great character both on an off the field.

JV Girls/Boys Basketball in Double Loss to ACS Sand Vipers

During a late night away game, the JV Boys and Girls headed down to Abu Dhabi to face the ACS Sand Vipers. The Girls found themselves in a tough game, where their offensive efforts fell just short in 31-22 loss against the Sand Vipers' tough defense. The Boys, in a "barn burner", found themselves equally matched up in offensive and defensive efforts. In a last minute and final possession, the Boys failed to capitalize and found themselves down 38-36 after the final buzzer.


Varsity Boys Basketball Lose to GWA Dragons

In a game set to determine the first place seeding for the local ECC league, the Varsity Boys matched up against the GWA Dragons. The Falcons played hard, worked hard, and certainly pushed the Dragons into a closely contested game. The Dragons played a very strong game against our boys and ended up winning with a score of 45-37. 


U14 Girls/Boys Basketball Victorious over DIA Wolves

In a solid team effort, both the U14 Boys and Girls found success against the DIA Wolves in a surprise home game. The Girls started the night off right with a convincing win, displaying great defense and posting 29 points on the boards and only allowing 15 points. The Boys followed this effort with a slow start to their offensive charge that picked up steam as the game progressed. The Boys played well, finding many transitional points and well set up offensive plays that led to a final score of 33-15.
