JV/Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Al Wasl

The Falcons faced an unusual opponent this evening when local basketball powerhouse, Al Wasl, came to ASD to match up their youth programs against both the JV and Varsity boys teams. Both ASD and Al Wasl respectively made scoring runs throughout the first three quarters in a seesaw game that included constant lead changes. Thanks to an excellent team effort on defense, and unselfish plays on offense, the Falcons took over the game in the 4th quarter and never looked back.

JV Boys Basketball vs AISA

Thanks to a third quarter run, the JV Basketball team defeated the AISA Lions in their second win of the season. With their aggressive defense and full court press, the Falcons flew past the Lions in the second half and went on to win the game.

Varsity Girls Basketball Defeat AISA Lions

The Varsity Girls Basketball team played a great game against AISA. Teamwork, spirit, and support were all present at the game. Great shooting and rebounding contributed to ASD's 55-21 win.

Varsity Boys Soccer Lose to DAA Leopards

Despite their best efforts, the Varsity Boys fell to bad luck against DAA, with a cross drifting in on 10 minutes followed by two more quick goals before half.  The Falcons were 3 down but pinned DAA in their own half in the 2nd and scored a goal to end the game 3-1.

U14 Girls Basketball Win vs. AAM

The U14 Girls performed extremely well in a convincing win over the visiting AAM team. The Falcons Girls demonstrated great teamwork, moving the ball well and finding the net to post 41 points at the end of regulation time for a 41-16 win.

Varsity Girls Soccer: Victory Over DAA Leopards

The ASD Varsity Girls soccer team traveled to DAA for their second match of the season. Despite being severely depleted due to illness and injuries, the Falcons played an outstanding match. With a quick shot off of a goalie rebound and a beautiful shot into the top right corner of the DAA goal, the girls went on to beat DAA by a score of 2-1, demonstrating fantastic teamwork and composure.

JV Girls Basketball Win Over AAM

The JV Girls started the game off pretty well and took the lead early on. Later in the game, however, mistakes and unnecessary turn overs caused a drop in the Lady Falcons' scoring. On the defensive side there weren't many rebounds, leading to many second shots for AAM and an increase in the opposing team's scoring. The final score, however, came out in favor of ASD, 32-13.
